Creating stories from buildings' stories

in collaboration with the Documenting Heritage Festival.

"Edu4all - Education for All" collaborates with the Documenting Heritage Festival and jointly organizes the event "Creating stories from buildings' stories," a two-hour cultural workshop aimed at highlighting the importance of a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing short video for documenting and showcasing the history of a building in Syros with significant historical value. The videos and photos created by participants will be featured as stories on social media platforms by the official networks of the Documenting Heritage Festival and "Edu4all - Education for All."

The documentation of a place's cultural heritage is an action of particular significance as it contributes to the transmission of historical knowledge and oral tradition. Through documentation, it aids in the development of education, experience, and the culture of a place. Beyond that, it is a process that benefits the individual involved as they learn experientially, enrich their existing knowledge, and feel they are part of a larger goal to promote culture.

The "Edu4all - Education for All" Social Cooperative Enterprise collaborates for this purpose with the Documenting Heritage Festival and director Kyriakos Angelakos, inviting all those interested to complete the participation form below. More specifically, participants will have the opportunity to closely observe a historic building, learn about its history over time, witness how an interview is conducted for a documentary, and draw inspiration from all these activities, ultimately creating a story to be shared on social media. Essential equipment includes a camera or smartphone.

To participate in the workshop, please complete the : participation form.Priority will be given as the number of participants is limited.
